Both Teams To Score

Reason for tip

Both teams should find the net when Bolton host Crawley in League One on Saturday. Bolton have scored 43 league goals, with both teams scoring in 16 of their 29 matches. Crawley have struggled defensively, conceding 48 times this season, while Bolton have kept just two clean sheets in ten games.

Draw 1-1

Reason for tip

A 1-1 draw looks a solid prediction as Bolton come into this game after a disappointing loss, while Crawley have lost four of their last six away games. Both teams have struggled defensively, and with Bolton seeing six of their last eight home matches end with both teams scoring, a draw is likely.

Bolton vs Crawley Town Predictions

Defensive issues for both sides

Back both teams to score when Bolton host Crawley in League One on Saturday. Just four sides have netted more than Bolton’s 43 goals this term, and both teams have scored in 16 of the hosts’ 29 games this season.

Bolton are ninth in League One, 13 places and 20 points above Crawley, who are 22nd with just six wins so far.

They have recorded two wins, one draw and three defeats in their last six League One games, which makes it hard to draw any firm conclusions about their form, although it was a disappointing start for Steven Schumacher as new manager to go down 1-0 at Reading last week. Crawley have lost four of their last six on the road, but did win 1-0 at Mansfield last week.

Both teams have scored in nine of Bolton’s 15 League One home games this season, with six of the last eight ending that way.

Both sides have been struggling defensively, which is another reason to expect goals. Bolton have failed to keep a clean sheet in eight of their last ten League One games, while Crawley have conceded 48 goals this season in the division – an average of 1.8 goals per game from 27 matches.

Crawley are out of form, but Bolton lost their last game. It may be hard to separate the two sides, with the 1-1 draw looking like a decent correct-score option.
