Dortmund searching for consistency

Dortmund’s home form has been terrific in the Bundesliga in recent months, going ten games without defeat, winning eight of them.

Those victories have been against some fairly impressive opponents, including RB Leipzig (2-1) and Freiburg (4-0), before drawing 1-1 with Bayern Munich last time out.

Many of them have also been by a fairly healthy cushion too, with Nuri Şahin’s side winning by at least a two goal cushion on six occasions.

Hoffenheim in trouble

That is bad news for Hoffenheim, given they are sliding down the league after a run of one win in nine outings across all competitions.

Four of those games have ended in defeat, all of them by at least a two goal margin.

And scoring is a major, mayor worry that manager Christian Ilzer is yet to address since taking the reins in November, with his side going six successive away matches without netting.
