Both Teams To Score

Reason for tip

Both teams have scored in four of Bosnia’s last five home games and they have gone six without a clean sheet on home soil. Bosnia were able to score in defeat to Germany last time out and Hungary played out a 1-1 draw with the Netherlands, so both teams look capable of scoring.

Draw 1-1

Reason for tip

The reverse fixture finished all-square and another stalemate could be on the cards here as both teams bid to build on positive performances. Both teams are expected to score but this could still be a low-scoring affair so a 1-1 result is the pick.

Bosnia And Herzegovina vs Hungary Predictions

  • Both teams have scored in four of Bosnia’s last five home games.
  • Hungary drew 1-1 with the Netherlands on Friday.
  • These sides played out a draw in the reverse fixture.

Hungary looking to build on Dutch point

Hungary head to Bosnia in the Nations League on Monday and both teams will be looking to build on fairly positive performances from their Friday fixtures.

Bosnia went down 2-1 at home to Germany but should be encouraged by their second half performance, as they managed to cut the deficit and forced a few chances to claim a late equaliser.

Hungary nearly downed the 10-men of the Netherlands but shipped a late equaliser, and the Magyars defended well against an Oranje onslaught for large periods.

These sides played out a goalless stalemate in their first meeting at the Puskas Arena. Hungary dominated that game but couldn’t force a breakthrough and in this second clash another close game could be on the cards, but this time around both teams look capable of scoring.

Bosnia should be a bit more adventurous on home soil than they were in Budapest and that should open the game up a bit more.

Both teams have scored in four of Bosnia’s last five home games and they have gone six without a clean sheet on home soil.

Hungary managed to find a way through against the Dutch, suggesting they can do some damage on Monday, but clean sheets have been an issue on the road and they’ve gone five games without a clean sheet on their travels.

Hungary’s last two games have finished level and after the first meeting between these sides ended as a draw a 1-1 result is the correct score prediction. Bosnia’s display against Germany suggests they can get something out of this game, but they may have to settle for a point rather than all three.
