Iliman Cheikh Ndiaye To Score Anytime

Reason for tip

Everton have struggled for goals this season but Iliman Ndiaye was inspired against Tottenham last week and the well-taken goal he notched against Spurs will have done wonders for his confidence.

Brighton vs Everton Predictions

  • No team has drawn more than Brighton’s total of ten Premier League games this season.
  • Seven of Everton’s last eight league away games have featured fewer than three goals.
  • The Toffees have won one of their last 21 league games on the road.

Moyes likely to give Everton more steel

Returning Everton boss David Moyes will be delighted with Sunday’s home 3-2 win at Tottenham, but he knows he will have to galvanise the Toffees on the road, starting with Saturday’s tough-looking trip to Brighton.

The Merseysiders head to the south coast having claimed just one victory in their last 21 away matches – that came at fellow strugglers Ipswich in October – and they have scored once in their last six outings as visitors, so there is a lot of work to do.

However, extra fortitude under Sean Dyche’s replacement could help them to a draw against a team who have had problems getting over the line this season.

Seagulls continue to be frustrated

There has been plenty to like about Brighton this term and they have had some memorable days at the Amex, beating both Manchester clubs and Tottenham.

However, six of their ten league games on their own patch have finished level and while they are the only team to have reached double figures in the Premier League draws column, Everton are joint third with eight.

That extra resolve Moyes could muster is set to produce another frustrating afternoon for Fabian Hurzeler’s side even though they will have been boosted by recent away wins at Ipswich and Manchester United.

Ndiaye can reward goalscorer punters

With just one of Everton’s last eight Premier League away games featuring more than two goals, a 1-1 draw may be of interest to those looking for a correct-score bet, while anytime-goalscorer enthusiasts are pointed towards Everton attacking midfielder Iliman Ndiaye.

The Toffees are the second-lowest goalscorers in the division with just 18 goals in their 21 matches, but the Senegal star possesses plenty of self-belief, as he demonstrated with his well-taken effort against Spurs on Sunday.

That was his fourth of the campaign and he was also on target in the Toffees’ creditable 1-1 draw at champions Manchester City, so he represents a big price to get on the scoresheet once again.
