Bristol City have won seven of their last nine Championship home games and they should be backed to get a victory over Hull at Ashton Gate on Saturday.

They are seventh in the table, 12 places above Hull, who are 21st. Bristol City have won 13 of their 35 games this season, while Hull have nine wins, nine draws and 17 losses.

Bristol City are unbeaten in seven of their last eight Championship matches and have gone four games without defeat. They have also avoided defeat in nine of their last ten meetings with Hull.

Hull’s recent form has been inconsistent, with two wins, one draw and three defeats in their last six games. They beat Sunderland 1-0 at odds of 4/1, but also lost 1-0 to 21st-placed Cardiff in this spell.

A 2-0 victory for Bristol City looks the best correct-score bet. They have won their last two home games and five of their 13 successes this season have been by two goals, including Tuesday’s 2-0 success at Millwall.
