Burton Albion vs Blackpool Predictions

  • Burton have only lost one of their last eight games
  • Blackpool have drawn five of their last seven outings
  • Both teams have scored in five of the Tangerines’ last six matches

Brewers in good form

After a disastrous start to the campaign, Gary Bowyer seems to have finally turned around the fortunes of Burton Albion and they have lost just one of their last seven League One games as a result.

Recent signing Jon Dadi Bodvarsson has been a revelation, netting four times in five games since his arrival.

He is a major factor in the fact that the Brewers have won three of their last four and will pose a tough challenge to Blackpool on Saturday.

Stalemate fancied

The Tangerines have also proven a tough nut to crack this term, they are seven games unbeaten and still harbour play-off dreams under Steve Bruce, although they need to start winning more games if they are to secure a berth in such a competitive division.

One thing holding back the visitors this term has been their propensity for stalemates, no team has drawn more games in the third tier than Blackpool’s 11.

With Burton’s newfound solidity, this could be another occasion on which both teams have to settle for a draw.

Both teams have scored in five of Blackpool’s last six and this could be the latest to follow suit, side with a 1-1 draw for correct score purposes.
