Chelsea vs Gent Predictions

Fresh Chelsea side ready to shine on European stage.

Chelsea have been in red-hot form recently, winning each of their last four and scoring at least three goals in three of them. Their burgeoning squad depth is proving to be a positive, and we will almost certainly see quite a few changes to the team that beat Brighton last time out.

They were able to change their whole line up when they played Barrow while maintaining a high-level of talent in the pitch, including the likes of  Christopher Nkunku, Pedro Neto and Joao Felix.

Many of the same players may feature against Gent after not starting against Brighton and they will be out to make an impact on Enzo Maresca as they strive for a more prominent position in the squad.

The Blues are backed to get off to a hot start here and, after seeing at least three goals in each of their last three wins, backing them to get the points alongside over 2.5 goals looks a good bet.

As we saw in their 4-2 win over Brighton, Chelsea do have a mistake in them at the back, and don’t have a great defensive record. Gent have scored in each of their last four games, too, so a 3-1 win for Chelsea appeals.
