Chesterfield are the best bet at home to Harrogate Town on Saturday, with the visitors struggling to find the back of the net this season.

Chesterfield are 12th in League Two, nine places and 11 points above Harrogate Town, with Chesterfield having won 14, drawn nine and lost 13 of their 36 games this season, while the visitors have recorded 11 wins, seven draws and 19 defeats.

Chesterfield’s 2-1 victory away at Notts County last weekend was their third consecutive League Two win and Chesterfield will be happy with the three points after being priced at 14/5 to win the game. Notts County had their chances but didn’t make the most of them.

Chesterfield will be confident of keeping a clean sheet, with Harrogate Town having failed to score in their last four League Two away games and blanking in five of their last six on the road.

Harrogate Town’s recent form has been inconsistent, with three wins, one draw and two defeats in their last six games. They beat Swindon 1-0 at odds of 2/1, but also lost to Newport and Bromley during that run.

Chesterfield have enjoyed success in three of their last four home games in League Two, while Harrogate Town have sustained five reverses in their last six on the road and have failed to win nine of their last ten away matches.

Chesterfield to win 2-0 looks the best correct-score bet. Harrogate have suffered five League Two defeats by that scoreline this season and six of their last eight matches have produced under 2.5 goals.
