Burnley are unbeaten in their last 12 away games and have won four of the last six on the road. They are worth backing to get another win away at Coventry on Saturday to maintain their push for automatic promotion.

Coventry are fifth in the Championship, with 17 wins and 14 losses from their 39 games this season, while Burnley are third, having won 22 and lost just two. They are separated by two places and 22 points.

Burnley beat Bristol City 1-0 last weekend to bring their opponents’ seven-game unbeaten run in the Championship to an end and secure their second consecutive win. Burnley have won 20 of the 24 games in which they’ve scored first this season (83%) and restricted Bristol City to one shot on target. They have now won 12 of the 19 matches in which they have been odds-on this season.

Coventry have been struggling defensively, failing to keep a clean sheet in seven of their last nine Championship games.

Burnley are in good form on the road, having won their last two Championship away games. They are unbeaten in their last 12 away matches, winning four of the last six.

The visitors are the most profitable away team in the Championship this season. Backing Burnley to a one-point level stake in their 19 away games would have shown a profit of 10.38 units.

Burnley have beaten Coventry by a single goal in two of the last three Championship clashes and a 2-1 away win looks a decent correct-score bet. Six of the hosts’ last seven league games have produced three or more goals.
