High-scoring affair expected in Split

Portugal sealed top spot in their UEFA Nations League group in emphatic fashion on Friday as they thrashed Poland 5-1, and another high-scoring game can be expected when they travel to Split on Monday.

The Selecao have won four and drawn one of their five Nations League games, with 16 goals being scored across these matches and both teams finding the net on four occasions.

Ronaldo to make an impact again

Croatia failed to score for the first time this campaign in Scotland on Friday, but they should be able to put in a better performance back on Croatian soil this time around.

They have scored in four of their five Nations League matches and are unbeaten in their last four at home, so backing both teams to score is advised. Both of these sides have scored three goals in total across their two respective home and away games, so a 2-2 correct score prediction also appeals.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored a brace against Poland to make it  135 goals for Portugal and he has scored in 12 of his 17 outings for club and country this season, including in four of his last five international appearances, so I’m opting for him in the anytime goalscorer market.
