Crystal Palace to Win

Reason for tip

Crystal Palace may have had to settle for a draw at Southampton in midweek, but they are unbeaten in five games and have won seven of their last nine. They beat Brighton 3-1 in the reverse fixture and the visiting Seagulls have only won one of their last five inside 90 minutes.

Crystal Palace 1-0

Reason for tip

Brighton have failed to score in their last two games and Crystal Palace have scored exactly once in two of their last three matches, including a 1-0 victory in their last home fixture.

Crystal Palace vs Brighton Predictions

  • Crystal Palace have won seven of their last nine competitive games.
  • Brighton are without a win in three matches.
  • Brighton have failed to score in their last two fixtures.

Eagles ascent halted at St Mary’s

A 90th-minute equaliser salvaged a point for Crystal Palace in their midweek trip to Southampton, but the in-form Eagles could take all three points when they lock horns with another south-coast outfit on Saturday.

That trip to St Mary’s will feel like two points dropped rather than a point gained for Oliver Glasner’s side, but they remain unbeaten in their last six games and the FA Cup semi-finalists have won seven of their last nine in all competitions.

Brighton struggle for form

This should give them confidence against a Brighton side that were humbled at home to Aston Villa in their midweek clash, with that 3-0 loss following on from their penalty shootout exit from the FA Cup last weekend.

The Seagulls have now won just one of their last five games inside 90 minutes. Although, with only four points between them in eighth and a top-four berth, there is plenty to play for in the closing stages of the season.

Back hosts to claim the spoils

With Crystal Palace winning their last three home games and in excellent form overall, they look good value to take all three points on Saturday, and a 1-0 correct score prediction appeals.

Brighton have failed to score in their last two games and Crystal Palace beat Ipswich 1-0 in their last game at Selhurst Park.
