Eintracht Frankfurt to Win

Reason for tip

Eintracht Frankfurt have lost only one of their last 10 home Bundesliga matches, winning their only home game this season. They have the quality to see off a Borussia Monchengladbach team that has won only two of their last 10 Bundesliga away games.

Eintracht Frankfurt 2-1

Reason for tip

A repeat of last season’s score when BMG went down 2-1 in Frankfurt could be on the cards. Eintracht have scored and conceded in eight of their last nine home league games. They have scored multiple goals in five of those games and conceded no more than once in six.

Omar Marmoush To Score Anytime

Reason for tip

Omar Marmoush has scored four goals in his last three games for club and country. He takes penalties and is Frankfurt’s biggest goal threat from open play too.

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Borussia Monchengladbach Predictions

  • Eintracht Frankfurt have lost only one of their last 10 home Bundesliga matches, winning their only home game this season
  • Borussia Monchengladbach have won only two of their last 10 Bundesliga away games and went down 2-1 in Frankfurt last term
  • Omar Marmoush has scored four goals in his last three games for club and country

Marmoush is making Frankfurt tick

Eintracht Frankfurt should prove too strong for an injury-hit Borussia Monchengladbach side at Deutsche Bank Park on Saturday evening.

Die Adler have won their last two Bundesliga matches with star winger Omar Marmoush scoring both of their goals in last week’s 2-1 win at his former club Wolfsburg.

The Egyptian was wanted by Monchengladbach, but chose to move to Frankfurt instead and is now being talked about as a potential big-money export to the Premier League. He has scored three goals in his last two Bundesliga appearances and bagged on the international stage too recently.

Visitors have been hit by a key injury

Unfortunately, the visitors will be without goalkeeper Jonas Omlin through injury while wide man Franck Honorat, who scored and assisted in their only league win of the campaign at Bochum, is a doubt because of illness.

The odds look stacked against Gerardo Seoane’s side in this contest and it seems best to back a home win, albeit with a touch of caution.

Eintracht have only won four of their last 10 home Bundesliga matches, although most of those games were last season. A 2-1 success, which would be a repeat of the scoreline when the sides met in December, is the preferred correct score play.
