Estonia vs Germany Predictions
Estonia ended their losing streak with a midweek goalless draw in Belarus but have now failed to win any of their five qualifying matches. Visiting Germany are in a tight and tense race for the qualifying spots alongside the Netherlands and Northern Ireland with all three on 12pts, and on Thursday the Germans drew 2-2 in a friendly against an Argentina side that did not contain Lionel Messi.
All of the stats point towards a Germany win and over 4.5 goals being scored on Sunday and we’ve backed a final scoreline of 5-0.
Germany have won both of their previous two encounters with Estonia and each of those meetings have produced over 4.5 goals. Germany scored over 4.5 goals and kept a clean sheet when the duo locked horns in June, with the scoreline finishing an incredible 8-0, so you can see why we’re expecting another big win for the visitors this weekend.
The form of both teams during the qualifiers only adds weight to our prediction of a comfortable win for Germany on Sunday, as Estonia are without a win in their last five qualifiers and have lost four of those five matches, while their guests this weekend have won four of their five qualifying matches.
Estonia have failed to score in three of their last four internationals and Germany have kept three clean sheets in their last four qualifiers, which is why we’ve backed the visitors to keep their hosts from scoring on Sunday. Over 4.5 goals have been produced in three of Germany’s last six international matches, and that’s why we have predicted a 5-0 win for Germany this weekend.
We’re confident that Germany will win and over 4.5 goals will be scored in the process and have predicted a final scoreline of 5-0. The visitors arrive as the clear form favourites and with a 100% record against their hosts. Germany scored eight without reply the last time these two sides met but, with Estonia having the home advantage, this time around we don’t expect the scoreline to be as substantial. Estonia have been struggling for goals in recent qualifiers and go up againsta strong German defence that has kept clean sheets in three of their last five matches, and we expect another routine victory for the visitors on Sunday.
