      Both Teams To Score

      Reason for tip

Both teams have scored in four of Everton’s last five home games and Ipswich had scored seven goals in four games before their last two matches in which they saw a player sent off in the first half of both matches. This pair could put on an entertaining affair.

      Draw 1-1

      Reason for tip

Seven of Everton’s 34 Premier League games have finished 1-1 this season and a repeat could be on the cards when they host Ipswich, who have finished with the same scoreline five times this term.

      Liam Delap To Score Anytime

      Reason for tip

Liam Delap has 12 league goals this season and has netted two in his last three starts. He is also Ipswich’s penalty taker so looks a solid proposition to get on the scoresheet.

      Everton vs Ipswich Predictions

      • Both teams have scored in seven of Everton’s last 11 games
      • Seven of the Toffees’ 34 Premier League matches have finished 1-1
      • Liam Delap has 12 league goals this term

      Ipswich looking to restore pride

Ipswich were officially relegated after their 3-0 loss to Newcastle on Saturday but they should go down with a fight in their final four games, the first of which sees them travel to take on Everton.

The Tractor Boys have found the jump to the Premier League simply too big but they have performed with credit at times this term, most notably in wins over Chelsea, Tottenham and Bournemouth.

Their defence has been their downfall but they still have a number of exciting players in attacking areas and a few that will probably be playing their football elsewhere next season.

Liam Delap has netted 12 league goals and has attracted plenty of attention while Julio Enciso has been dangerous since his January loan move from Brighton.

That pair could cause plenty of issues for an Everton side who have been solid if unspectacular in recent months.

      Farewell for Toffees

This is just the Toffees’  second-last game at Goodison Park and they will want to send their ground off with a pair of victories over these opponents and Southampton later this month.

David Moyes has achieved his primary objective of keeping the team in the division but they have won just one of their last nine games, drawing five of those.

The summer will be crucial once again for Everton as they look to pull away from the wrong end of the table and start to compete in the top half as they did consistently in Moyes’ first spell with the club.

Only Leicester and Southampton have scored fewer goals in the Premier League than these two this season but both teams are fancied to get on the scoresheet in this clash.

Ipswich had netted seven in their last four games before back-to-back defeats without scoring against Arsenal and Newcastle.

However that does not tell the full story as they had a player sent off in the first half of both of those games and are unlikely to suffer the same fate again.

Both teams have scored in four of Everton’s last five home games with the exception being their 2-0 defeat to Manchester City in which they hit the woodwork and missed a number of good opportunities.

In what should be a fervent atmosphere, take both teams to get on the scoresheet.

Seven of Everton’s 34 league games have finished 1-1 so correct score backers should keep a goal apiece on side.

Liam Delap has been stifled by his side playing with ten in their last two matches but he has still netted in two of his last three starts so looks a solid bet to do so again.
