Both Teams To Score

Reason for tip

Leicester have scored in 30 of their last 32 league trips, but they’ve seen BTTS land in 28 of those. The visitors have scored in every away game this term but they’ve managed just one clean sheet, while Everton have scored in four of their last five at home.

Draw 1-1

Reason for tip

Everton are unbeaten in their last five Premier League games against Leicester, but the Foxes have lost once in their last four and that was to Man City. The hosts have drawn five of their 13 games so far, so back this clash to finish 1-1.

Everton vs Leicester City Predictions

  • Everton have scored in four of their last five at home
  • Leicester have scored in 15 of their last 16 visits to Goodison Park
  • The Foxes have scored in 30 of their last 32 away league games
  • Both teams have scored in 28 of those 32 away games

Foxes on the up

Leicester lost narrow to Manchester City last week, ending a three-game unbeaten run. There are clear signs that the Foxes are starting to get it together, especially after running out 4-0 winners at Wolves in their last away game.

However, Leicester meet an Everton side who have also turned things around, pushing themselves into midtable. While both teams have started to improve at the back, their impressive form going forward should lead to goals in this clash.

Everton can cause problems

Everton have scored in four of their last five at Goodison and Frank Lampard has set about making them a force going forward. The return of Dominic Calvert-Lewin in attack should help, as does the rebirth of Alex Iwobi.

Only Kevin De Bruyne (9) has provided more assists in the league this season than Iwobi (5). The converted former winger has averaged 1.7 chances created per 90 minutes so far this term, his highest in a single season for the Toffees.

With the hosts looking more creative, back them to trouble this Leicester defence. Only Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth (28 each) have conceded more goals than the Foxes (25).

Leicester’s away threat

The visitors at least pack a punch going forward, while their record at Goodison is excellent. Leicester have only failed to score in one of their 16 league visits to Everton, finding the net in each of their last 12 trips.

Leicester have scored 21 Premier League goals this season, finding the net in every away trip. They’ve scored in 30 of their last 32 away league games, with 28 of those games seeing both teams score.

I’m backing Leicester to continue that fine record but they should get caught out at the back again. Back both teams to score in this clash, with a 1-1 draw my correct score prediction.
