Everton to Win

Everton vs Manchester United Predictions

  • Manchester United have lost their last two Premier League games.
  • Everton have won four of their last six matches.
  • Beto has scored four goals in his last three Premier League appearances.

Red Devils’ struggles continue

Everton’s late win at Selhurst Park last weekend saw them leapfrog Manchester United in the Premier League table and David Moyes’ dream return to Goodison Park could continue when they face one of his former clubs on Saturday.

The Red Devils’ downfall began with Moyes’ appointment in 2013, and there seems to be little sign of things turning around for the Mancunians following their defeat at Spurs last Sunday.

That leaves them 15th in the table and, despite an overall upturn in results recently, their performances have not filled fans with confidence, with unconvincing victories over Southampton, Rangers, Fulham, and Leicester over the past month making their form look a lot better than their displays deserve.

Toffees enjoy resurgence under Moyes

Everton’s win at Crystal Palace was their fourth in seven games under Moyes, with this string including a 2-2 draw against league-leaders Liverpool, too.

The Toffees lost 4-0 at Old Trafford at the beginning of December, but this is a very different Everton side and they look a good price to exact some revenge over their struggling visitors.

Beto’s purple patch to roll on

The hosts have scored exactly twice in each of their last two games and beat Crystal Palace 2-1 last time out. With Manchester United averaging exactly one goal per game over their last five in all competitions, a repeat of that scoreline appeals, with Beto a likely contributor for Everton.

The 27-year-old scored the opener last weekend and has thrived under Moyes, with that being his fourth goal in his last three league appearances.
