FC Porto vs Famalicao Predictions

• Porto have won just one of their last seven home matches in all competitions

• Both teams have scored in five of Porto’s last six home games, as well as in each of Famalicao’s last three away matches

Dragons’ dismal form may continue 

Having ended 2024 sitting second in the Primeira Liga and just one point behind Sporting, many will have expected Porto to kick on in the second half of the season and battle for a first title since 2022. 

However, in an unexpected twist, the Dragons have picked up 19 points from their 13 games in 2025 and are now well behind their rivals Sporting and Benfica, who are tied at the summit. 

Martin Anselmi’s side have won three of their last four matches but their overall form cannot be ignored and Friday’s visit from in-form Famalicao may be anything but straightforward. 

Famalicao fancied to net in Porto

In contrast to Porto, Famalicao have been in fantastic form for a while now. Hugo Oliveira’s side made it four wins in five with a 3-0 rout of Estoril last time and there is every chance they cause their hosts some issues at Estadio do Dragao. 

The visitors have netted in eight consecutive games and have lost just three of their last ten matches, meaning a shaky Porto may struggle to keep them at bay on Friday. 

Both teams have scored in five of the Dragons’ last six away games and in-form Famalicao can ensure that trend continues by notching in Porto.
