Fiorentina likely to bounce back

Fiorentina’s season has been sensational, although it took a somewhat negative turn in their last league game, when they lost 1-0 to Bologna.

That result ended Viola’s ten-game unbeaten run in the league, during which time they won nine times, moving into the top four in Serie A in the process.

They have been particularly brilliantly at home, going unbeaten at Stadio Artemio Franchi over the course of the league campaign, with Roma, Lazio and AC Milan among the teams to perish there.

Udinese look up against it

That is bad news for Udinese, who head into this match on the back of successive defeats, going down to Napoli (3-1) and Inter Milan (2-0).

Indeed, the Little Zebras have been in miserable form of late, losing in six of their last eight league fixtures, therefore slumping to ninth in the table.

And although Kosta Runjaić’s side recently won away at struggling Monza, five of their last seven fixtures on the road have ended in defeat.
