• Forest Green have only lost two of their last 15 home league games
• Oldham have not won an away match against a side in the top half since August
• Rovers will seal promotion if they win and Northampton and Bristol Rovers

Forest Green to bounce back from horror show

Forest Green had an absolute stinker on Good Friday, suffering a shock 4-0 defeat to Barrow, but they are very much expected to bounce back in this one against a poor Oldham team.

Rob Edwards’ side have generally been strong at home this season, winning 13 times in 21 matches, including 1-0 successes recently against Scunthorpe and Mansfield.

They have in fact lost just three fixtures at the New Lawn, while suffering only one loss in their six most recent outings.

Oldham in big, big trouble

Oldham also lost on Good Friday, 2-0 at the hands of Northampton, and they now sit three points from safety in the League Two relegation zone.

John Sheridan’s side had a recent resurgence a couple of weeks ago, defeating Newport and Stevenage, but are otherwise on a run of eight defeats in ten.

Their away form does not make for pretty reading either, losing three of their last four and registering only one win on the road against a side in the top half this season – which was against Sutton way back in August.

Forest Green can seal promotion with a win here and I thoroughly expect them to pick up the three points, selecting 3-0 as a correct score prediction.
