Low scoring affair in Fortaleza

Fresh from two wins on the bounce, Fortaleza find themselves top of the table and looking good value for another win here. Their opening two games have seen them beat both Atletico Mineiro and Internacional and the side look confident ahead of the visit of Sport Recife.

Recife haven’t enjoyed as good a start to their campaign with an opening day draw with Internacional following up by a disappointing defeat to Mineiro. They find themselves in 13th place with just one point so far.

This fixture hasn’t seen many goals in recent times with six of the last seven matches between the two ending with under 2.5 goals.
