France vs South Africa Predictions
- France have only lost one of their last 12 friendly matches
- There have been three or more goals in three of South Africa’s last five friendlies
- Three of the previous four meetings between the two sides have contained three or more goals
France to notch up easy win?
After a disappointing Euro 2020, France go in search of a seventh successive win, a run that has seen them net an incredible 19 goals.
Four of the most recent five of those fixtures have included at least three strikes, as have five of their last eight games on home soil.
Meanwhile Didier Deschamps’ side have an incredible record in home friendly matches, winning six of the last seven and losing just once in twelve attempts over a four year period.
South Africa up against it
South Africa’s last meeting with France saw them win 2-1 when they hosted the 2010 World Cup, but given their recent form, they will be hard pressed to repeat that result this time around.
Hugo Broos’ side lost 1-0 in their last competitive game in November, while their most recent game was a 0-0 draw against Guinea last week.
But before that stalemate, three of their last four friendlies had contained three or more goals, while they have lost their last ten friendlies in Europe.
I predict France will win this fixture and they should do so with ease, so I select a home win with three or more goals in the match and 3-0 as a correct score prediction.
