After both enduring tough fixture runs, Mainz and Augsburg can rebuild some confidence by taking a point apiece when they face off at Opel Arena this Friday evening.

Mainz began the campaign impressively with three wins from their first four outings, but they’ve hit something of a brick wall since mid-September. Bo Svensson’s side come into this contest having gained just one point from their last four games, though all of those matches have been against teams currently in the top five.
