Fulham to Win

Reason for tip

Fulham appear to have turned a corner after their win at Manchester United last weekend, making it six points from the last three games. The Cottagers can use that momentum to overcome injury-hit Brighton, who have six defeats in their last 11 league trips.

Fulham 3-1

Reason for tip

When Fulham win at Craven Cottage they usually do it in style as they have scored at least three goals in five of their seven home league victories. A 3-1 win for the hosts is the correct score prediction as both teams have scored in Fulham’s last four games and they have managed just one clean sheet in their last five home league games, so Brighton can strike in defeat.

Alex Iwobi To Score Anytime

Reason for tip

Fulham have shared the goals around this season and none of their players have scored more than five Premier League goals. Alex Iwobi has four, including the winner at Manchester United last weekend, so he looks a reasonable outside pick for an anytime effort against Albion as he should come into the game buoyed by that strike at Old Trafford.

Fulham vs Brighton Predictions

  • Fulham have six points from their last three games.
  • Brighton have won just one of their last eight league trips.
  • Albion are in the midst of an injury crisis.

Fulham can overcome understrength Seagulls

Fulham claimed an impressive 2-1 win at Manchester United last weekend and they can follow that up with three points against poor travellers Brighton on Saturday.

Albion star Kaoru Mitoma was ruled out for the season earlier this week and fellow forward Joao Pedro is also missing for this game, while Evan Ferguson is a doubt so visiting manager Roberto De Zerbi is short on options in attack.

Cottagers have turned a corner

Fulham endured a difficult January with just one win in six games in all competitions, a cup success at Championship strugglers Rotherham, but they look to be back on track after two victories in their last three.

Brighton won their first two away games in the Premier League but have struggled since, with just two victories in their last 11 – and six defeats.

The Seagulls have only won one of their last eight away in the league and that success came at rock bottom Sheffield United. They also come into the game after a midweek FA Cup exit at Wolves and Fulham, who should be full of confidence after their win at Old Trafford, can take advantage.

Seagulls can strike in defeat

Both teams have scored in Fulham’s last four games and in three of Brighton’s last five. The Cottagers have also managed just one clean sheet in their last five home league games so we may well see both teams on target here.

Fulham have won seven of their 13 home games in the league and have scored at least three goals in five of those wins, so a 3-1 home win has a chance in the correct score market.

Fulham have shared the goals around this season and none of their players have scored more than five Premier League goals. Alex Iwobi has four, including the winner at Manchester United last weekend, so he looks a reasonable outside pick for an anytime effort against Albion.
