Germany vs Iceland Predictions

• Germany lost an embarrassing match 6-0 against Spain last time out to end their unbeaten run at 12 (W7, D5)
• Iceland have now lost five matches in a row, conceding 13 goals in that time.

Germany set for an easy night

Despite Germany’s poor showing last time out against Spain, they enter this match as heavy favourites and will be looking for a big win to start their qualification campaign.

Germany were on a 12 game unbeaten run before their 6-0 loss to Spain and had looked in good shape, something that it shouldn’t take much to return to against an uninspiring Iceland side this week.

Iceland are on an awful run, losing five in a row and conceding almost three goals a game in that period. Prior to that they picked up a win against Romania but they have struggled against the likes of Denmark, England and Belgium since then.

Germany should be picking up an easy three points in this game, something they will badly need after their poor recent showing and we’re backing the hosts to score over 2.5 goals against their Icelandic opponents.  We’re forecasting a 4-0 win for Germany as they get their qualification campaign off to the perfect start.
