Gillingham vs Bromley Predictions
- Bromley have only lost one of their last 16 league matches
- Michael Cheek has 12 league goals and three in his last five
- Four of Gillingham’s last seven defeats have been by a 2-1 scoreline
Saints in trouble
Bromley and Gillingham are separated by just a point in the middle of a congested League Two table after sharply contrasting recent form.
Andy Woodman’s side have recovered from a poor start to the campaign to go on a run of just one defeat from their last 16 league games.
By contrast the Gills started strongly but have lost nine of their last 14 games and are travelling in the opposite direction to their opponents.
Bromley were 2-1 winners when these two met recently in the reverse fixture but the close nature of that clash is reflected in the prices this time around.
The hosts have been better at home than on their travels and the prices look about right in the 90 minute market.
One selection that does look overpriced is Michael Cheek to find the net. Bromley’s star striker has 12 league goals this season, just one behind the top scorer in the division Nathan Lowe.
Cheek has three goals in his last five outings and is Bromley’s penalty taker so looks a tempting option to find the net here.
For correct score backers they may note that four of Gillingham’s last 13 games have finished 2-1 to their opponents so it may pay to side with Bromley to edge this one.
