      Barcelona to Win

Barcelona have won all four league games this season and are fancied to make it five against a Girona team that have lost many of their stars from last term and were beaten 3-0 by Atletico Madrid recently.

      Barcelona 3-1

      Reason for tip

Five of Girona’s last six home games in the league have produced four or more goals and these two teams shared 12 goals in their two meetings last season so this could be a high-scoring affair. Take a 3-1 away win.

      Girona vs Barcelona Predictions

      • Barcelona have won all four games this season
      • Five of Barcelona’s last six La Liga away games have seen both teams score
      • Five of Girona’s last six home league games have had four goals or more

      Barca to continue good start

Barcelona have had a strong start to the new season, winning all four of their games to start the campaign and opening up a four-point gap with rivals Real Madrid.

They visit Girona as they look to carry on their good start and should be able to get another victory.

The hosts have picked up wins against Osasuna and strugglers Sevilla but drew with Real Betis and were beaten 3-0 by Atletico Madrid.

Michel’s men finished third last term but may struggle to repeat that again this time around, they also face a tough Champions League assignment on Wednesday as they visit Paris Saint Germain.

They have lost some of their key players from last season and it remains to be seen if replacements such as Bojan Miovski, Abel Ruiz and Ladislav Krejci are up to the required standard.

Barcelona have made a strong start under new boss Hansi Flick and are fancied to continue that with another victory on their travels here.

However, correct score backers should keep in mind that both teams have scored in five of Barca’s last six away games and a 3-1 win for the visitors is the pick.
