Hibernian vs Queens Park Predictions

  • Queen’s Park are unbeaten in their last four competitive games, with an aggregate score of 12-0
  • Six of Hibs’ last 11 games in this competition have gone over 3.5 goals
  • Only Kilmarnock drew more games than Hibs in the top flight last season

Queen’s Park impressive

Queen’s Park had a somewhat disappointing campaign last season after coming within a whisker of the top flight the year before, finishing eighth in the Championship.

They put down a marker in their first game of the new campaign however, beating Peterhead 5-0 in their first game of the new term.

The Spiders now have Callum Davidson, who led St Johnstone to win this competition, in charge and will have one eye on promotion from what looks like an ultra-competitive second tier.

They visit Hibs in the night’s televised game and it should a thrilling affair.

The visitors are unbeaten in their last four competitive games and put four past Celtic in a preseason defeat recently.

They could unsettle a Hibs side that are finding their feet under new permanent boss David Gray.

Visitors could hold on

Hibs did win their first game 5-0 themselves but coming off the back of a disappointing season that saw them finish in the bottom half of the top flight, they may fail to back up Saturday’s performance.

The value looks to be with the visitors avoiding defeat, side with Queen’s Park in the double chance market.

Six of Hibs’ last 11 games in this competition have gone over 3.5 goals so correct score backers should take a 2-2 draw.
