Huddersfield vs Manchester United Predictions
After a team’s relegation has been confirmed you will often see them mounting a resurgence in form as the pressure lifts off their collective shoulders. Fulham are doing just that in the Premier League right now, but Huddersfield are showing absolutely no signs of this.
They were demolished at the hands of Liverpool last Friday to make it eight defeats in a row in the Premier League, and they have lost a massive 28 of their 36 total league games this season.
As it stands, they are heading towards one of the worst Premier League performances in history, with only Derby’s 11 point haul below their measly 14 point tally at the moment.
The Terriers can’t even find respite at the John Smiths Stadium, where their long suffering fans have seen them slump to 10 defeats in their last 11 Premier League matches there. The only sliver of silver lining to this cloud is the fact that they have at least managed to score in nine of their last 13 league outings there.
Manchester United aren’t exactly in the best form of their lives, but they will be expecting to get back to winning ways on Sunday. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have only won two of their last seven league matches, and their 4-0 thrashing at the hands of Everton a couple of weeks ago has left them reeling from three consecutive away defeats.
Prior to that The Red Devils had won six on the bounce away from home though, and we will surely see three points heading their way against such an out of form side. That being said, we’re not expecting their shaky defence to improve. Manchester United have conceded in 13 of their 18 league away days this season, including shipping nine goals in their last four.
All of this points towards a Manchester United Win and Both Teams to Score bet being a good value offering on Sunday, so we’re backing that along with a 2-1 win for the visitors.
