Hull looking to avoid a banana skin

Hull have a pretty miserable record in the FA Cup, losing at the first hurdle in each of the last three seasons, so a third round tie against rivals Doncaster might have supporters sweating.

The Tigers’ home record will inspire little confidence either, given that they have won just one of their last ten outings at the MKM Stadium.

Doncaster hoping for an upset

Rovers, who sit two divisions below Hull in the English pyramid, will be looking to pile on the misery, although a 2-1 defeat to Port Vale last time out has slightly deflated expectations.

They have not been too bad on the road this season, losing only two of their last twelve away matches, with seven of those seeing both teams score.
