Romania to continue good form

Goal difference sent Romania down in the 2022/23 Nations League in what was by far the most competitive of the League B campaigns, with just four points separating top from bottom.

Friday’s visitors did beat the group winners Bosnia & Herzegovina 4-1 in the last round, but that was not enough to save them from the drop. However, they put in a good showing and will be strongly fancied to head straight back up after impressing in Euro 2024.

They have taken some big scalps in recent years and, after some good performances in the Euros against some of the best teams in the world, they should be confident here against Kosovo.

Kosovo are no pushovers, though, and do have a good record at home, with them just losing one in their last ten home games. Romania are one of the better sides they will have faced and that class should prevail, although it won’t be easy for The Tricoulours, so a bet on 1-0 looks a fair shout.
