Back Barca to win and concede

Barcelona head to Las Palmas on Saturday night knowing only a win will be enough to guarantee they retain top spot in La Liga after the weekend fixtures are concluded.

Only goal difference separates Barca from Real Madrid immediately below them, with Atletico Madrid a point further back in third and Athletic Bilbao well placed in an intense title fight.

Las Palmas stunned the Catalan giants with a 2-1 win in the reverse fixture in November. There was more than a hint of smash-and-grab about that result and they come into this game winless in seven, losing six of those.

The visitors have hit 10 goals in their last three games and have scored at least four goals in four of their last seven – so a 4-1 away win looks a reasonable correct score play.

Robert Lewandowski is the obvious pick for an anytime goal. The Polish striker has scored in his last four league games and has six goals in his last six appearances across all competitions for Barcelona.
