Lazio to extend unbeaten streak in Champions League

Lazio head into the final round of Champions League Group Stage matches still unbeaten in the competition this year, but despite this the Italians still face an uphill battle to secure the top spot in Group F.

Their trio of away day stalemates leave them second to Borussia Dortmund in the group, and with the Bundesliga giants facing the winless Zenit on Tuesday it’s unlikely that Lazio can topple them here.

Le Aquile still need to avoid defeat against Club Brugge to secure qualification, but we’re not expecting that to be too much of an issue for them. While they have struggled to win on the road, at home they have clinched comfortable victories over both Borussia Dortmund and Zenit and they’re facing a side who lost 3-0 both home and away to Dortmund last month.

This makes a Lazio win stand out as the best bet for Tuesday, and with both of their home wins ending 3-1 and Brugge conceding three goals in both meetings with Dortmund we’re opting for that for our correct score prediction.
