Stretched Lazio can claim narrow win

Lazio have been strong at home this season and Marco Baroni’s side should be backed to beat Udinese on Monday.

Lazio have won seven of their 13 home games, while Udinese have won four of their 13 away matches.

They are fifth in Serie A, Udinese tenth – five places and 11 points between them. Lazio have won 15 of their 27 games, while Udinese have 11 wins.

Lazio are in form, unbeaten in seven of their last eight league games and are fighting on multiple fronts having got into position to challenge for a Champions League spot via their Serie A position as well as look to gain entry into Europe’s premier club competition by winning the Europa League.

Baroni might look to shuffle his pack after Thursday’s Europa League trip to Viktoria Plzen but there should be enough in the tank to see off Udinese.

Lazio have won nine of their Serie A games this season by the odd goal and a narrow 1-0 win for them looks a decent correct-score bet. Three of Udinese’s last four games have stayed under 2.5 goals.
