      Under 2.5 Match Goals

      Reason for tip

Sixteen of Wycombe’s last 20 League One games have gone under 2.5 goals, and with promotion pressure mounting, both sides may play cautiously. Leyton Orient have also seen four of their last five matches produce fewer than three goals, so a tight, low-scoring clash is expected.

      Draw 1-1

      Reason for tip

Neither team will want to lose, and a 1-1 draw suits Orient more than it does Wycombe. With both sides eyeing promotion but wary of slipping up, a cagey contest with limited chances could see the spoils shared at Brisbane Road.

Leyton Orient vs Wycombe Wanderers Predictions

Goals in short supply on Saturday

Wycombe’s games have been low-scoring lately, and there might not be too many goals when they visit Leyton Orient on Saturday at Brisbane Road in what seems sure to be a tense encounter with so much riding on the result.

Sixteen of Wycombe’s last 20 League One games have stayed under 2.5 goals, and the recommended bet is to go under the goals again here.

They are third in League One, three places above sixth-placed Leyton Orient, with 12 points separating the two teams. Wycombe have won 24 of their 44 games this season, while Leyton Orient have won 22.

It could be hard to separate these two sides, with the 1-1 draw looking like a decent correct-score bet, even if the result does not appear to suit either side.

Wycombe have two points to find on Wrexham in the race for automatic promotion, however, Wanderers were thumped 4-0 at home by Charlton on Monday and don’t seem up to the task of taking down Orient.

A draw might not be a terrible result for Orient, who lead Reading on goal difference in the race for the final play-off spot. Reading have a tricky trip to relegation-threatened Bristol Rovers and if they don’t secure maximum points then a share of the spoils will do just fine for the east London outfit.
