Rangers 3-0

Reason for tip

Rangers have been involved in some high-scoring affairs recently, with nine of their last ten in all competitions seeing at least three goals, back a 3-0 Gers win in this one.

Livingston vs Rangers Predictions

  • Rangers have won the last three meetings between these two without conceding
  • Livingston have suffered three defeats in a row without scoring
  • Nine of Rangers’ last ten games have gone over 2.5 goals

Hosts struggling

Livingston have fought off a proposition from their rivals St Johnstone for manager David Martindale but they have not got going this season, losing nine of their 12 matches and looking like they are in a real relegation dogfight.

Livi have lost four on the spin and are among the lowest scorers in the division, a fact that may not improve much when they host an in-form Rangers side fresh from success in the Europa League in midweek.

Rangers to claim comfortable victory

The Gers beat Sparta Prague 2-1 on Thursday and have now won five and drawn one of their six matches under new manager Philippe Clement.

The Belgian seems to have instilled his style of play quickly on the team and they are reaping the rewards, netting ten goals in their last three matches, reaching the Scottish League Cup final in the process.

The Light Blues have won the last three meetings with Livi without conceding and given the relative form of either team, should be able to do so again.

Nine of the visitors’ last ten have gone over 2.5 goals so take a 3-0 Rangers win in this one.
