Sheffield United 1-0

Reason for tip

Sheffield United are in excellent form, having won six of their last seven Championship matches, and as this looks likely to be a low scoring affair take the Blades to win 1-0.

Luton vs Sheffield United Predictions

Goals in short supply as Blades face Luton

Saturday’s Championship clash between Luton and Sheffield United at Kenilworth Road is unlikely to produce many goals. Five of Luton’s last seven league games have had fewer than three goals and under 2.5 goals has been a winning bet in 21 of Sheffield United’s 32 Championship games this season.

Sheffield United are second in the Championship, with 21 wins, six draws and five losses from their 31 games this season, while Luton are rock bottom having lost 18 of their matches. The two sides are separated by 42 points.

Sheffield United are in excellent form, having won six of their last seven Championship matches, a run that includes a 3-1 win over Middlesbrough. They have only lost one of their last ten away games and come into this game on the back of three consecutive victories.

Luton lost 2-0 to Sunderland on Wednesday, in what was their third consecutive Championship game with under 2.5 goals. The result was no surprise, with Sunderland priced at 7/10 to win the game.

The last five Championship head-to-heads between these two sides have all featured fewer than three goals and this game is unlikely to break that trend, with Sheffield United’s games also tending to be low-scoring recently.

United to win 1-0 looks a decent correct-score option with this set to be a low-scoring match.
