West Bromwich Albion Draw No Bet

      Reason for tip

West Brom are 17 places higher than Luton in the Championship and, despite a six-match winless run, should have too much for their hosts at Kenilworth Road. The Hatters have lost three of their last four matches and five of their last seven meetings with the Baggies. West Brom have drawn four games in a row, though, so get your stakes back should it finish level in Bedfordshire.

      West Bromwich Albion 1-0

      Reason for tip

The fact West Brom have failed to score in four of their last five matches is a worry, so any win on Friday is likely to be a narrow one. The Baggies are still fancied to get the job done, however, as Luton will be without at least five first-team defenders through injury and suspension for the clash.

Luton vs West Bromwich Albion Predictions

      • Luton have lost three of their last four matches are 22nd in the Championship
      • West Brom’s last four matches have finished level
      • The Baggies have won five of their last seven meetings with the Hatters

      Luton’s luck unlikely to turn

A miserable start to the season for Luton continued in dramatic fashion on Saturday as they threw away a two-goal lead to lose 3-2 at Coventry, a result which has left them 22nd in the Championship table and with just one win in six matches.

The Hatters are in desperate need of some points but a visit from fifth-placed West Brom looks unlikely to provide any, given the Baggies’ superior league position and recent record in this fixture, with the Black Country side winning five of the last seven meetings between the pair.

Hopeful Luton fans will look to the fact West Brom are without a win in six as a positive but it could actually have the adverse effect. Rob Edwards will be looking for a reaction from his side, but so will Carlos Corberan, and the visitors’ stronger squad are more likely to provide one at Kenilworth Road.

Back Baggies to come out on top

To make matters worse for Luton, they will be without five defenders for this clash as Mads Andersen, Amari’i Bell and Reece Burke are injured while Alfie Doughty and Tom Holmes are suspended.

That is bad news for the Hatters given West Brom have the Championship’s second highest scorer, Josh Maja, in their ranks, making a punt on the Baggies all the more appealing.

However, the fact Corberan’s men have drawn four matches on the spin is a slight concern so it could pay to get your stakes back should a fifth consecutive West Brom match finish level.
