Goals keep flowing for red-hot PSG

PSG have hit a purple patch in form and they will be looking to preserve their unbeaten status in Ligue 1 when they visit Lyon on Sunday.

The capital club have had few issues domestically this campaign, winning 17 and drawing five of their 22 matches in Ligue 1 and they have long been on course for the title.

But they have also started improving their continental form, hammering Brest 10-0 on aggregate in their Champions League knockout round playoff tie after high-scoring wins against Manchester City and Stuttgart.

Ousmane Dembele did not score in Wednesday’s 7-0 mauling of Brest in the second leg but has already bagged 15 goals in 2025 and PSG have netted at least three times in five of their last seven contests.

Ambitious Lyon should be competitive

On Sunday, though, they clash with another team in fine attacking form with Lyon having won their last two Ligue 1 assignments 4-0 against Reims and 4-1 against Montpellier.

Those results have pushed Les Gones up to sixth spot in the league and they are still in the hunt for the Champions League places so there should be no sitting back when they play host to the Parisiens.

Over 3.5 goals looks the best bet and, while PSG are in red-hot form at the moment, Lyon are too on the up and a visit to the Groupama Stadium is not straightforward, so back 2-2 in the correct score market.
