      Under 2.5 Match Goals

      Reason for tip

Seven of the last eight meetings between these two sides have gone under 2.5 goals, as have both of Mallorca’s matches this season and another low-scoring game is expected between two teams that are yet to win this term.

      Draw 1-1

      Reason for tip

A maximum of one goal has separated these two sides in five of the last six meetings, a run that includes two draws. One of those stalemates finished 1-1, as did Mallorca’s opening home match of this season against Real Madrid.  It would be no surprise to see that scoreline bear fruit again on Tuesday.

      Mallorca vs Sevilla Predictions

      • Seven of the last eight meetings between these two sides have gone under 2.5 goals
      • Both of Mallorca’s matches this season have featured fewer than three goals
      • A maximum of one goal has separated these two sides in five of the last six meetings

      Tight encounter between winless pair

It has not been a great start to the season for either Mallorca or Sevilla, with both sides taking just a solitary point from their opening two games in La Liga, the former sharing the spoils on home soil against Real Madrid and the latter drawing away to Las Palmas.

Both of Mallorca’s games so far this season have gone under the 2.5 goal mark and that has been a familiar theme when these two sides have faced off over recent years, with seven of the last eight meetings yielding no more than two goals.

Mallorca averaged less than a goal-per-game last season on home soil and Sevilla were barely above that average in their away games. Another low-scoring contest could be on the cards at the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix this midweek.

Draw could be the order of the day

A likely low-scoring contest in Palma brings the draw into play, especially as a maximum of one goal has separated these sides across five of their last six meetings, with two of those games ending all-square.

That run includes a 1-1 draw between the pair at the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix in October 2021, while that was also the way it finished in Mallorca’s first home match of this season against Real Madrid.

Sevilla’s opening away match of the campaign at Las Palmas finished in a score draw and a 1-1 share of the spoils could be how Tuesday’s match plays out as well.
