Manchester City vs Liverpool Predictions
- Manchester City have won all seven home games this season.
- Liverpool have scored in all 18 competitive matches this term.
- Mohamed Salah has scored in each of his last four appearances against Manchester City.
Cityzens top the table
Manchester City played their part in one of the best Premier League games in recent memory before the international break and another high-scoring affair is on the cards this weekend, although they should be able to take all three points at the Etihad.
Despite dropping points at Stamford Bridge, Pep Guardiola’s side sit top of the table as they look for a fourth-successive Premier League title, although Liverpool are just a point behind them and will be hoping to leapfrog the Cityzens on Saturday.

Liverpool return to form
After a season in the doldrums, the Reds look back to their best this term and went into the international break off the back of comfortable 3-0 win over Brentford which extended their unbeaten record to five league matches.
However, they have struggled on the road at times, losing at Toulouse in their last trip away and winning just one of their last five away days. With Manchester City winning all seven home games this term, I expect the hosts to take all three points.
Goals galore at the Etihad
City have conceded in four of these home matches, though, and now face a Liverpool attack that is flourishing. The visitors have scored 44 goals in 18 competitive matches this season and are yet to fail to find the back of the net, making Manchester City to win and both teams to score a standout pick.
Manchester City have scored exactly three goals in three of their last five matches and Liverpool have scored at least twice in eight of their last nine, so a high-scoring 3-2 correct score prediction is an appealing option, while Mohamed Salah could find himself among the goals.
The Egyptian forward has scored ten goals in 12 Premier League appearances this season and netted a brace against Brentford. He has scored an impressive 11 goals in 19 appearances against Pep Guardiola’s side and has found the net in each of the last four meetings between these sides.
