Manchester United vs Fulham Predictions
- Manchester United have beaten Fulham twice in the Premier League this season.
- Both teams have scored in three of United’s last four games.
- Fulham have scored in all of their away games since drawing a blank at Old Trafford in August.
FA Cup holders host Fulham
The FA Cup has proven to be a welcome relief for Manchester United over the last few seasons but they will need to be on top of their game against in-form Fulham on Sunday at Old Trafford.
United won the cup last season after finishing as the runners-up the year before, and this term they’ve claimed arguably their best results of the season in this competition by dumping Arsenal out.
However, Fulham arrive in fine form with four wins in their last five games and the best angle for our main bet could be backing both teams to score.
United have a pair of 1-0 wins over Fulham in the league this season but the Cottagers were unlucky not to take at least a point when these teams last met in London.
Fulham lost at Old Trafford in the first round of games, and since then they have scored in every away game across all competitions – with both teams scoring in 11 of their 16 trips this season. Both teams have scored in three of United’s last four games and in both of their FA Cup ties.
United’s record in this competition is hard to ignore despite their recent struggles overall but they might need extra time to sneak past Fulham. I’m going for a 1-1 draw as the correct score as Fulham competed well in both league games despite losing twice, and they are the team in better form coming into the game.
