Millwall 3-1

Reason for tip

Millwall, who scored twice in a 2-2 draw at Sheffield Wednesday last time out, have conceded exactly once in eight of their last 11. Dagenham have conceded at least three in three of their last seven, but scored in all bar two of those games.

Millwall vs Dagenham And Redbridge Predictions

  • Millwall beat Blackburn in their last but one home game
  • Dagenham are on a run of six defeats in their last dozen outings
  • The Lions have won five of their last 11 FA Cup ties

Millwall need to find some form

2003/04 FA Cup finalists Millwall have been on an abysmal run, managing just one victory eleven outings across all competitions.

However, that win was an impressive one, an impressive 1-0 success against Blackburn over the Christmas period, while they drew 2-2 at Coventry in their most recent fixture.

That was a promising result for new boss Alex Neil, who will now be hoping to chalk up his first victory as the Lions take on Non League opposition and attempt to avoid a fifth-straight third round elimination.

Can Dagenham spring a surprise?

That will provide some hope to National League outfit Dagenham and Redbridge, as they make the short trip to Bermondsey for this London derby.

The visitors have already caused a bit of a stir in the FA Cup this season, knocking out Crewe and Wimbledon, but their form has tailed away since the latter of those games.

Ben Strevens’ side have recently been beaten by Wealdstone and Braintree, two of six defeats across their last dozen outings in all competitions.

I predict that Millwall will win this game, with a 3-1 victory my correct score prediction.
