No side has amassed more points across their last five Championship matches than Swansea, who have taken a full 15 in that time. That makes them difficult to oppose at the Den, although Millwall have won four straight home games and the pair could prove tough to split.

Draw 0-0

Reason for tip

Two of Millwall’s last four wins have come to nil and they are usually tough to beat at home. Swansea, meanwhile, have conceded just one goal while winning their last five matches, suggesting net-bulging action could be at a premium at the Den, where a 0-0 correct-score is appealing.

Millwall vs Swansea City Predictions

  • Millwall have won four of their last five matches and four in a row at the Den
  • Swansea are unbeaten in six matches, drawing with Leeds before winning five on the spin
  • The Lions have lost just one of the pair’s last five meetings, winning the last two 1-0

In-form pair poised for a stalemate

Two of the Championship’s sides will go head-to-head on Saturday when Millwall welcome Swansea to the Den, it is just a shame that both teams’ seasons are all-but over already.

With two games remaining, the Lions are three points off the playoffs but they would need a couple of slip-ups from Bristol City or Coventry, who occupy the places, and probably Middlesbrough too, given Millwall’s goal difference is much worse than Boro’s.

Swansea, meanwhile, are six points behind Coventry and while they can still mathematically make the playoffs, they would need a lot of results to go their way to achieve that.

Super Swans can tame Lions at the Den

Finishing the season on a high is never a bad thing, though, and this pair could be ones to watch when it comes to the top-six spots next term.

Caretaker boss Alan Sheehan has done an excellent job with the Swans, earning 23 points from 11 games, and they will fancy their chances of securing a win at the Den after winning five straight matches.

However, Millwall are in solid form themselves, winning four of their last five games and each of their last four at the Den. A chaotic atmosphere in south London can often intimidate teams, although the Swans have drawn at Leeds and won at Sunderland in their last three away matches, suggesting they should have enough to extend their unbeaten run to seven with a draw at Millwall.
