Moldova vs Denmark Predictions
- Denmark have won all six of their Group F qualifiers without conceding a goal.
- Three of those victories have been via a four goal margin or better, including an 8-0 hammering of Moldova in Copenhagen.
- Moldova are winless in the campaign, losing five from six and shipping 17 goals in total.
Danes to crush hosts in Chisinau
Denmark blasted eight goals in March’s reverse fixture and the Moldovans could face another mauling at the hands of Kasper Hjulmand’s men in Chisinau this Saturday.
The Danes have been irresistible and untouchable in Group F thus far, securing a perfect six wins from six with the minimum and fuss and without conceding a goal.
Their effortless surge towards Qatar 2022 has rubberstamped Denmark as one of Europe’s leading nations following their epic run to the Euro 2020 semi-finals and it would be surprising were they not to take some kind of hand at the finals next year.
Hjulmand’s side ran riot when Moldova made the trip to Copenhagen in March, and they’ve won three of their six qualifiers by at least a four goal margin.
While the Moldovans are usually adept at keeping the score down with no more than two goals conceded in nine of their last 12 outings, Denmark are a cut above the majority of teams which they’ve played in the recent past.
The hosts are rock bottom of the section after picking up just one point from a possible 18, and they’ll be fearful of another thrashing similar to what they suffered at the start of the campaign.
Denmark don’t exactly need to win this fixture by a distance, though we expect them to gear up seriously for their midweek clash at home to Austria. Providing Hjulmand’s stars apply themselves seriously, a two goal handicap should be covered fairly easily in Chisinau where we’re forecasting a seamless 4-0 victory for the visitors.
