Montenegro vs Norway Predictions

  • Montenegro have won both of their Group G games, beating Latvia and Gibraltar.
  • Norway opened with a defeat of Gibraltar before being beaten by Turkey.
  • Montenegro have scored 11 in their last six with Norway scoring nine

Both sides to excel on Tuesday

Norway travel to Montenegro on Tuesday for their Group G match with both sides starting the campaign well.

Montenegro have got off to the perfect start in their qualifying campaign, beating Latvia 2-1 last week before securing a 4-1 win over Gibraltar on Saturday. They are the two easiest games in Group G however and this will represent Montenegro’s first real test.

Norway were also able to dispatch of Gibraltar with ease, beating the minnows 3-0 last week but they fell to Turkey on Saturday by the same scoreline in a disappointing result. They will want to end this international period with a win but a trip to Podgorica will be a tough test for the Scandinavian side.

Both sides have been in good goalscoring form in recent times, scoring 20 goals between them in their last 12 combined fixtures and we think they continues this week. We’re backing both teams to score in this contest which could be one of the most entertaining on Tuesday. We think the quality available to Norway, Erling Haaland in particular, could be the difference maker to the result though and we’re forecasting a 2-1 win to the away side.
