Napoli to Win

Reason for tip

Napoli have won eight of their last ten Serie A games on home soil and can hand a first league defeat of the season to Juventus, who have drawn an incredible 13 times this season.

Napoli 1-0

Reason for tip

A 1-0 win for Napoli appeals, given their stellar defensive record at home and Juventus’ frequent draws this season. Three shutouts in their last four matches further strengthen the case for a narrow Napoli victory.

Napoli vs Juventus Predictions

Gli Azzurri backed for victory

Napoli are strong at home and they should be backed to beat Juventus on Saturday.

They have won eight of their last ten Serie A games at Diego Armando Maradona Stadium and can make it nine from 11 to hand out a first loss of the season to draw specialists Juve.

Napoli are top of the table, 13 points clear of Juventus in fifth. The hosts have won 16 of their 21 games this season, while the visitors have eight wins and 13 draws.

Napoli ended Atalanta’s 15-game unbeaten run in Serie A with a 3-2 win last week. Having been priced at 21/10 to win the game, they will have been pleased to come away with the three points.

Juventus drew 1-1 with Atalanta in their last league away game, but they won 2-0 at home to Milan in their latest Serie A outing.

Napoli have been impressive defensively at home this season, conceding just six goals in ten Serie A games – an average of 0.6 goals conceded per game. No side in the league has shipped fewer goals than the 14 that Napoli have conceded in their 21 games overall.

They have kept three shutouts in their last four matches and you would not expect anything else from a side managed by Antonio Conte.

Napoli have won eight of their 16 Serie A games this season by the odd goal and a narrow 1-0 victory looks like a decent correct-score option for this one as Conte looks to take down his former club.
