Napoli to Win and Under 2.5 Match Goals

Reason for tip

Napoli have posted four wins in their last six matches and are the team to beat in the Serie A title race right now given Inter’s slip-up in form. The club from Naples can keep their winning run going with a low-scoring victory over Torino.

Napoli 2-0

Reason for tip

Torino’s league games have averaged just 2.27 goals per game this term, so punters should not expect a humdinger when they clash with Napoli. The hosts are the team to back but this could be low-scoring, so go for a 2-0 win to Napoli.

Napoli vs Torino Predictions

  • Napoli have won four of their last six games
  • Three of Napoli’s last five matches have featured under 2.5 goals
  • Torino’s Serie A fixtures have averaged only 2.27 goals per game this term

In-form Napoli pushing for Scudetto

The race for the Scudetto could well go down to the wire and there have even been talks of a playoff deciding the winner of Serie A with Inter and Napoli level on points and head-to-head with five matches to go.

Napoli can at least do their bit on Sunday with a win over Torino but it could be a tight and cagey contest.

The club from Naples have won three of their last four matches in Serie A, recording back-to-back wins to nil against Empoli and Monza this month.

And while Torino have performed better than Napoli’s last two opponents, they could also struggle to trouble Napoli’s rearguard.

Watertight defence should see Conte’s men over the line

Napoli have conceded only 25 goals in Serie A this season and their watertight defence has been key to their title charge.

But going forwards they have not exactly been scintillating, especially since Khvicha Kvaratskhelia departed for Paris Saint-Germain, and they have been reliant on goals from midfielder Scott McTominay.

They are a typical Antonio Conte side and should grind out another win in this one but do not expect them to blow apart Torino, so back a win and under 2.5 goals.

In terms of a correct score, opt for 2-0 to Napoli.
