Both Teams To Score

Reason for tip

Both teams to score looks the best bet when Norwich take on Stoke at Carrow Road. This has landed in four of Stoke’s last six league games and was a winner by half-time when these sides last met in October. Norwich have been prolific at home against bottom-half teams, while Stoke have conceded first in their last three matches.

Draw 2-2

Reason for tip

A 2-2 draw looks like a solid correct-score pick, with both teams struggling defensively and Norwich playing in plenty of high-scoring encounters this season.

Norwich vs Stoke City Predictions

Expect goals at Carrow Road

The best bet may well be that both teams score when Norwich host Stoke at Carrow Road. That wager has landed in four of Stoke’s last six Championship games and was a winning bet by half-time when the sides last met in October.

Norwich are 12th in the Championship and Stoke are 19th, with the Canaries having won 11, drawn 11 and lost 11 of their 33 games this season, while the Potters have eight wins, 11 draws and 13 defeats.

Stoke were 3-1 winners against Swansea in their last Championship game on Saturday, but Norwich have recorded five victories in the last seven head-to-heads between these two sides and are unbeaten in eight meetings.

However, the hosts have been in patchy form recently, with two wins, two draws and two defeats in their last six games.

Stoke ran out 3-1 winners against Swansea last weekend, but they conceded the opening goal for the third game running. They have won just two of the 14 games this season when they’ve shipped first.

Norwich have been prolific at home against bottom-half teams, averaging 2.88 goals a game in eight matches, while they’ve averaged 3.75 goals a game in their four home games against teams in the bottom six this season.

Both teams are struggling defensively – Norwich have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last three Championship games and Stoke have gone five games without recording a shutout.

No Championship team has played more games in which both sides have scored than Norwich this season, a 2-2 draw appeals as a correct-score pick.
