      Odense BK vs Brondby Predictions

Both teams have plenty still left to play for on the final day of the season in the Championship Round of the Danish Superliga, with Brondby and OB set to battle it out over the final Europa League spot. OB have the advantage as they sit three points ahead of their guests, meaning only a win will do for Brondby on Saturday.

OB blew a two goal lead last time out away at Nordsjaelland and ended up with just a point to show for their efforts. Lund broke the deadlock in the sixth minute and teammate Kadrii doubled that advantage eleven minutes later. however, Nordsjaelland pulled a go back just before the break and equalised early in the second half to claim their share of the spoils. Brondby put in a fantastic display at home to Midtjylland on Monday night, where despite going behind in the fourteenth minute the hosts cruised to victory. Wilczek equalised in the thirty-eighth minute and on the stroke of halftime Hedlund put Brondby in front. The games crucial goal was scored by Tibbling in the sixty-fourth minute to put the hosts 3-1 in front, and eleven minutes from time Wilczek scored his second goal of the game to wrap up a 4-1 win.

The recent head to head record between these two sides and their performances in the Superliga over the last month or so, all suggests that Saturday’s game will end in a draw and that we will see both teams score. These two sides have drawn three of their last five encounters in the Superliga, and both teams have scored in four of the last five encounters between the two clubs. OB have drawn three of their last six matches, while Brondby have picked up three wins and three defeats from their last six. Both teams have scored in four of OB’s and four of Brondby’s last six matches, which is why we’re predicted a score draw between the pair this weekend.

Kadrii leads the way for OB with ten league goals this season, while Poland’s Wilczek moved onto twenty Superliga goals for the season with a brace last time out. We’re confident that Saturday’s game will end in a draw, and have predicted a final scoreline of 1-1. Both teams have plenty to play for on the final day which will make the game competitive, and the pair have produced their fair share of draws in recent encounters. OB have drawn three of their last six matches, while Brondby’s form has been more inconsistent, but with just three points between the pair heading into the final game of the season the pair have been playing to a similar standard and we believe that will lead to a draw on Saturday.
