A trip to out-of-sorts Odense BK, then, represents a good opportunity for Bo Henriksen’s men to get up and running.

Indeed, the hosts have gone six competitive games without a win, failing to win any of their two contests this term after ending last season with a poor four-match sequence. Having shipped two goals in each of their outings this term, Odense have also managed just seven shots on target across those contests, and look like big outsiders here.

Midtjylland will not be pleased with their own start, although the caveat should be added that Henriksen’s side have been balancing fixtures against last season’s fifth- and sixth- placed finishers with a Champions League qualification campaign. Meanwhile, Odense have seen both teams score in five of their last six games, and Midtjylland have seen goals at both ends in each of their last six, so a 2-1 away win looks a decent correct score prediction.
